![]() For straight platforming Rayman Legends supports it (you can also get Sonic Mania which should too, but not co-op, just racing through levels against each other I think). I would also look at beat'em'up style games like Wulverblade, that should support it as well. I haven't picked up Enter the Gungeon yet, but I imagine it supports single joycon play. I have 1 or 2 smaller titles that "support" it, but 1) the 2nd player experience is not robust (like all they can do is control a targeting reticle and shoot things on screen) and 2) it usually gimps the 1st player experience as well. ![]() The only truly multiplayer games I have myself are Mario Kart and Resident Evil Revelations 2 (which I haven't installed yet and presume requires 2 full controllers). Nine Parchments supports single joy con play I found it kind of uninspired, but others don't seem to think so. DotEmu posted a trailer this evening announcing a bundle of LucasArts co-op shooters Zombies Ate My Neighbors (1993) and Ghoul Patrol (1994) would come to Switch on June 29. ZAMN was on the Wii VC, so it's not unlikely, but since then LucasArts was bought by Disney so it's really up to them.įor recommendations, I don't know about jump in/out games, but obviously MK8D, I thought SMO's co op was pretty good, Snipperclips is a fun time. Sure it'd be a cool addition to the virtual console but I wouldn't want it as a special port of its own, there's so many SNES games that deserve to be on VC. Just wanted to see if there was anybody out there who agreed! Anyone else who has played this game, what do you think? Wouldn't it be awesome?!Īlso, I already know this is just my opinion and I doubt it would be brought to switch any time soon. So far the only game that I have found that spikes my interest is 'Shovel Knights', but if anyone else has any good suggestions please leave a comment below!īut even with all the research I have been doing I can't help but wish the classic game 'Zombies ate my Neighbors' was on Switch! I had so much fun playing that game back in the day and man was it challenging! So challenging that I dont think I ever was actually able to complete it. I have been trying to find some good coop games that are simple enough that a single joy con is sufficient enough to handle all the controls. One of my favorite features of the Switch is having the ability to take off the joy cons and play multiplayer/coop on the fly. TLDR Aside from this game being an amazing classic, I feel like it would be an amazing co-op game for the switch that would utilize the single joy-con controller really well!
